Kacho Fugetsu Teapot
Kutani Ware Kacho Fugetsu Japanese Teapot
Make tea time feel like an occasion. This Japanese teapot shows a bird perched among white cherry blossoms, painted in the Kacho Fugetsu theme, "flower, bird, wind and moon", a centuries-old celebration of nature's seasons, painted in the rich colours Kutani ware is known for.
Kutani ware has been made in Ishikawa Prefecture since 1655 and is known for its vivid overglaze enamels, applied by hand and fired on to the glaze. At 360ml, it pours two to three cups of green tea, sencha or genmaicha, making it ideal for tea for two. Pair it with the matching Kacho Fugetsu Mug or our Kutani teacups for a complete set.
