Hanazume means "packed with flowers", and this mug lives up to the name: blossoms in rich, jewel-like colours cover the surface from rim to base. Because each one is finished by hand, no two mugs are exactly alike, so the one that arrives at your door is truly your own.
Kutani ware has been made in Ishikawa Prefecture since 1655 and is known for its vivid overglaze enamels, applied by hand and fired on to the glaze. The Hanazume pattern is one of its most loved designs, and on a 230ml everyday mug it brings a quiet moment of beauty to your morning coffee or afternoon green tea.
