Our most luxurious tea set. Hanazume, "packed with flowers", covers every surface in dense, hand-painted blossoms, and it is finished here with warm gold accents in the tradition of Kutani's famous gold-decorated wares.

Kutani ware has been made in Ishikawa Prefecture since 1655 and is known for its vivid overglaze enamels, applied by hand and fired on to the glaze. The set includes a 360ml teapot and a pair of teacups in two sizes, a classic Japanese pairing for couples. That is why it is such a treasured gift for weddings, anniversaries and milestone birthdays.
